Zune in hand

In stark contrast to my previous post, I must now say that I am glad I waited to buy a Zune.

I was able to score a refurbished Zune with full MS warranty from a certain deal-a-day special for $100.

Now I just have to wait for the new software updates.

Virtual Bubble Wrap

Are you obsessive-compulsive when it comes to bubble wrap? You know what I mean. You're the type of person who will sit with a mile-square sheet of bubble wrap and pop every single bubble. And when you've popped them all, you'll go back and look for ones you may have missed.

This gadget comes from the "why didn't I think of that" category, but also fills any void in the "You'll never make money from that" category, too.

The device is an electronic gadget with 8 buttons. Each press results in an assumingly satisfying "pop." That is, until you get to button press number 100 (and each hundred afterwards), when you're greeted with a door chime, a barking dog, a fart, or a "sexy voice."

I'll stick with the real stuff that comes in my Woot.com orders. Actually, I think they just use the bags filled with air. Think of them as a sheet of bubble wrap with only a few really big bubbles that scare the cats when they pop. Oh, you ever step on bubble wrap in the dark? Looking for a way to scare the wife? Don't blame me, though...
